WARNING from a customer - The day my advert went live, 19th Feb, I received a call followed by an offer to buy at the full price. The buyer, from Liverpool, sent a cheque for the full amount without arranging to have the car examined. I thought this was unusual, but banked the cheque and was about to arrange for the car to be collected after the normal 5 working days clearance.
Just as an afterthought, I spoke to my bank and was informed that a cheque can bounce or be stopped any time up to 10 working days, even though the money appears in the recipient's account.
When I explained this to my would-be buyer and asked him to wait the full 10 days or stop the cheque and replace it with a banker's order or cash, he immediately withdrew from the sale, even though he had been extremely enthusiastic about what a great deal he was getting.
If they give you a Cheque or a Bankers Draft and then ask you to immediately Wire Transfer money to them ASK for CASH or DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM

Motor Vehicle sales
   This website is to help disabled motorists to both buy and sell vehicles
    that they have had expensively modified due to their disability.
This could save a buyer the expense of a conversion and the seller the cost of converting his vehicle back to standard – an expensive and time consuming business.
Only Ł30.00 (incl VAT) for a page advert with up to two photographs and displayed online for at least four months.

Selling your Car

This button will take you to a form for you to fill in the details of your car, the modifications, the price you want for it and how potential buyers can contact you.
You can input up to 2 electronic photos online and there is a Help section available to guide you through adding photographs. If you do not have such facilities you can print off the form and post your photos for us to add for you. (SAE if you want them returned)

Trade adverts welcome.

Payment: You have a choice - you can print off the eMail form and post us your cheque or Postal Order OR pay through a secure system by credit card.

If you are a member of one of the affiliated charities or associations listed on the drop down menu on the form, you can nominate them for a donation from Justmobility for using this service.

Search the Motor Vehicles for sale

This button will take you to a search screen where if you simply press "Search" it will list ALL of the vehicles that are for sale on this website.
If you want to choose from the drop down menus you can search for your exact requirements

e.g. Ford: Arm modifications: Price maximum Ł6,000.

If there are any vehicles for sale that meet that criteria they will be listed for you.

If there are none for sale you can return to the "Search" screen and widen the search by clicking the "Reset" button and, say, leave the "Price"
   search at "Any" and see all the Fords for sale at any price with
   modifications for arm disabilities for sale in the UK.

Please note - You can put a FREE advert in the "Wanted - Vehicle" section in the Mobility Products section if you can't find what you are looking for.

Mobility Product Private Adverts of any value are all FREE – all types of mobility products from wheelchairs, to power beds and chairs, to hoists, to walking frames, to a stair lift, if you want to sell it -
– advertise it here for free.
Adverts stay on the system for at least four months but if you haven’t sold it by then we don’t mind if you put them back on again.
All Trade Adverts are chargeable at Ł20.00 each (incl VAT) and are displayed online for at least four months - just a fiver a month!.

If you want to choose from the drop down menus you can search for your exact requirements.

e.g. Manual Wheelchairs: Wales – this will give you a list of any manual wheelchairs for sale in Wales.

If there are none for sale you can widen the search by clicking the "Reset" button on the "Search" screen and, say, leave the "Area" search at "Any" and see all the manual wheelchairs for sale in the UK.

There is also a key word search, if want to see what wheelchairs are for sale, firstly click on "Reset" then simply type in the word "Wheelchair" and click on "Search" and it will present you with a list of adverts that include the word "Wheelchair".
